Political Donations from Corporations Have a Huge Impact on Democracy 

In the aftermath of the January 6th insurrection, many corporations pledged not to support politicians in the Sedition Caucus who voted against certifying the election. Since then, multiple corporations have reversed direction, broken their promises, and resumed their political donations. Some didn’t even bother to stop donating in the first place.
